Aiming to develop the traditional crafts industry nationwide, we implemented unique initiatives that leverage Tokyo's strengths, such as its "deep consumer base," "concentration of businesses," and "openness to the world." We created a wide range of opportunities and chances, and promoted the appeal of traditional crafts both domestically and internationally, so that the event would create a legacy and lead to the future development of the traditional crafts industry.
